How to use the visual timer
- Pick a style: Sand, Pie or Bar.
- Choose a preset or type a time, then press Start.
- Turn off Show numbers for a calm view, and press F for full screen on a projector.

Why use a visual timer?
Seeing time shrink is easier to understand than reading numbers, especially for young children and for anyone who finds clocks stressful. It helps with transitions and turn taking.
What do the colours mean?
The fill is blue while time runs, turns amber in the last 10 percent and red when time is up.
Can I show it on a classroom screen?
Yes. Press the full-screen button or F. The graphic grows to fill the screen and the controls hide until you move the mouse.
