How to use the stopwatch
- Press Start or the Space bar to begin counting.
- Press Lap or L to save a split. Fastest and slowest laps are labelled.
- Stop to pause, then Copy or download your laps as CSV.
Questions
Does the stopwatch keep running in another tab?
Yes. It measures from your device clock, so the time stays right even when the tab is in the background or the screen sleeps. It also survives a page reload.
How accurate is it?
It reads your device clock to the millisecond and shows hundredths of a second. Screen refresh limits what you see to about 1/60 of a second, but the recorded times are exact.
Can I save my laps?
Press Copy to paste them into a document or spreadsheet, or CSV to download a file. Laps are also kept on this device until you press Reset.
