Flip Clock
A full-screen flip clock with seconds and date. Use it as a desk clock or screensaver.
Using the flip clock
This flip clock shows the time with split-flap digits that turn over as the minutes and seconds change, like a classic flip clock or an old station board. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.
- 12h or 24h: switch between AM/PM and 24-hour time.
- Seconds: hide the seconds for a calmer, minutes-only display.
- Date: show or hide the day and date under the clock.
- Style: dark, light or blue cards.
- Full screen: press the full screen button or the F key. The controls fade away after a few seconds.
Your choices are saved in your browser, so the clock looks the same next time.
Use it as a desk clock or screensaver
Open the flip clock on a spare tablet, laptop or a smart TV browser and press full screen to turn it into a large desk or wall clock. In full screen, the page asks the browser to keep the screen awake. On a phone or tablet, also check the device's own auto-lock setting. On a computer, you can leave it running on a second monitor while you work.
Is the time accurate?
Yes. The clock uses your device's time, corrected against our time server when the page loads, so it is accurate to within a fraction of a second even if your device clock has drifted. For a clock with milliseconds and an accuracy check, open the exact time page.
Accessibility
If your device is set to reduce motion, the digits change without the flip animation. Screen readers announce the time once a minute.
